We re gonna hit em hard – President Donald Trump delivered a forceful warning on Wednesday that American military forces would launch significant attacks against Iran during the evening hours. The announcement came while he attended the NATO summit in Ankara, Turkey, where he discussed regional security matters alongside allied leaders.
Speaking before his scheduled meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the US commander-in-chief made his intentions clear.

Trump declared, emphasizing that Tehran continues to breach existing agreements on a daily basis.
Ceasefire Ends with Harsh Words
The American president confirmed that the temporary truce has officially concluded following overnight military operations and Iran’s retaliatory actions. He expressed frustration with ongoing diplomatic efforts, stating he no longer wishes to engage with Iranian leadership.
“As far as I am concerned, it’s over,”
Trump told reporters at the Turkish summit. He characterized Iranian officials as dishonest and added that he considers them unworthy of further negotiation.
Infrastructure and Territory Under Threat
Trump outlined potential targets for the upcoming strikes, including civilian infrastructure and strategic locations. He specifically mentioned the possibility of seizing Kharg Island, a critical energy hub for Iran’s oil exports.
The president indicated that American forces would not limit their operations to military installations alone. He warned that any nation supporting Tehran could face consequences as well.
Iranian Military Readiness
Iranian officials responded swiftly to the American threats. Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari stated that Iran’s armed forces remain strong and prepared for any escalation.
“If you dare, come,”
Sayyari challenged American forces directly. The Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters also issued a warning that countries neighboring Iran and supporting the US would become targets.
Strike Details and Regional Response
US Central Command reported that more than eighty targets were hit during recent operations. These strikes responded to Iranian attacks on three American ships in the Strait of Hormuz. Targets included defense systems, command networks, radar installations, and over sixty IRGC small boats.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte described the military actions as absolutely necessary. Meanwhile, Bahrain activated missile sirens and Kuwait deployed air defenses to intercept hostile missiles and drones in the region.
Trump plans to speak with special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner regarding future diplomatic options. He insisted that Tehran must return to negotiations under new terms.
